Sanskara Β· Reform

Ten actions. Start today.

A reform that lives in policy papers is dead. These actions live in homes, temples, on forms, at weddings, in companies. Pick three. Do them this month.

ΰ₯₯ Karma ΰ₯₯
  1. 01

    Drop the caste surname.

Use a place-name, a neutral name, or simply β€˜Hindu’ on official forms. Lead by example in your own family.

  2. 02

    Caste-free weddings.

Refuse to publish, ask, or list caste in any marriage proposal. Sneha β€” our matrimony platform β€” has no caste field, by design.

  3. 03

    Caste-free temples.

Petition local temple trusts to remove sub-caste sanghas, sub-caste seating, and sub-caste priesthood reservations. Anyone qualified by training may serve.

  4. 04

    Caste-free census.

Oppose the caste census on principle. Counting caste perpetuates caste. Count Hindus. Count Sanatanis.

  5. 05

Cross-community mentorship β€” each one, lift one.

Every senior professional adopts one student from a historically disadvantaged Hindu family β€” SC, ST, or economically backward β€” each year. Career, scholarship, network, capital, weddings: full transfer, no asterisks. The single most durable equalizer.

  6. 06

Caste-free entrepreneurship β€” with focused uplift.

Srjan funds and incubates founders by idea quality alone β€” no caste filters, no caste networks. AND it runs dedicated SC/ST and economically backward Hindu founder cohorts with seed grants, demand-letters of credit, and senior mentor adoption.

  7. 07

    A unified Sanatana calendar.

One shared festival calendar for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs. Celebrate each other's days. The umbrella is real only when lived.

  8. 08

    Reform-era curriculum.

Teach Phule, Ambedkar's integrative side, Narayana Guru, Vivekananda, Savarkar's social-reform work, Periyar's critique, and the Bhakti saints β€” together, honestly.

  9. 09

    Re-conversion without re-casting.

Welcome ghar-vapsi Sanatanis as Hindus β€” never assign them a caste. The mistake of the past was caste-locking returnees. Never again.

  10. 10

    Speak the new identity.

When asked your caste, answer: β€˜I am Hindu.’ When asked again: β€˜I am Hindu.’ Repetition is reformation.

casteless hindu β€” I am Hindu. No caste.
