Level the playing field.
For two thousand years, who got to start a business in this civilisation was decided by who your father was. We are building the platform that finally breaks that ledger — a caste-free entrepreneurial community for every Hindu, with a deliberate door held open for those families that the old system locked out: OBC, SC, ST, and economically backward.
Srujan is in design phase right now. First cohort target: Q4 2026. We will not launch it until KYC, escrow, and human moderation are done right. The waitlist below shapes what gets built first.
Three pillars.
Small, monthly, video. Six aspiring founders matched with two mentors who have built and shipped. No paid speakers, no panel theatre — only working operators willing to give two hours a month.
₹50k–₹5L grants, pooled and granted by the community — not by a partner fund taking 2-and-20. Disbursed for concrete milestones: incorporation, GST registration, first three customers, first hire. Recipients tithe 5% back to the pool once revenue passes ₹50L ARR.
Shark-Tank-style live pitch sessions to a real panel of operators — but the goal is not entertainment, it is whether you should keep building this thing. Brutal, kind, and on the record so others learn.
What it is not.
- Not another accelerator that takes 7% of your company for a Demo Day.
- Not a job board, not a LinkedIn group, not a WhatsApp broadcast.
- Not a community that asks your surname — Srujan does not store caste, ever.
- Not a charity. Recipients tithe back. The pool compounds. Every cohort funds the next.
- Not for-profit either. There is no equity stake, no preferred return, no exit.
Who this is for.
You have an idea, or a first version. You have skill and grit. You do not have the family network, the rolodex, or the ₹25L runway that the children of the Indian elite take for granted. Srujan is built for you.
You have built something. You know how lonely the first three years are. Give two hours a month, or pool ₹10k–₹1L a year into the grant fund. Pay it forward, with sangha around it.
FAQ
Why not just use Y Combinator / Antler / Sequoia Surge?+
Use those too if they will fund you. Srujan exists because most first- generation founders from underrepresented Hindu communities never get through the front door of those programs — pattern-matching, networks, and pedigree filter them out. Srujan is the door that opens before the outside funders even look.
Is this caste-based reservation?+
No. There is no caste field. The door is held open by economic and family-history filters (first-generation graduate, family income band, no prior funded startup in the family) — not by jati labels.
Where does the grant money come from?+
Pooled from members + a 5% tithe from successful alumni once they cross ₹50L ARR. There are no outside investors with returns to satisfy. All flows will be published quarterly, on-chain or audit-reviewed.
When does it actually launch?+
First cohort target: Q4 2026. The waitlist below is the founding 100 who will be invited to design what cohort 1 looks like.
Whether you are a founder, mentor, or funder — the first act is the same. Take the pledge. Then join the waitlist.
Launch date is intentionally unannounced. When Srujan is built right, you'll hear from us once.
