Marry the person, not the caste.

Sneha is the matrimony platform we are building for every Hindu — and every Buddhist, Jain, Sikh who calls Sanatana home. By foundational design, there is no caste field. Not optional, not hidden, not as a sub-filter, not anywhere. You find a partner by values, language, profession, family outlook, and dharmic compatibility. That is all.

Honest timeline

Target launch: Q3 2026. We will not open signups until the five safety pillars below are real and audited. A half-built matrimony platform is dangerous — and we refuse to ship one.

The five non-negotiables.

Every claim below is a hard launch gate. We will not enable signups until every one is shipped and an external auditor has signed off.

1
Real identity, verified once

Phone + ID-document KYC on signup. Verified once, never shown publicly. One human, one profile — no second accounts, no fake profiles.

2
Photo provenance

Every profile photo is reverse-image-searched against the open web on upload, watermarked invisibly, and rejected if it matches a stock, stolen, or previously-flagged image. Catfishing dies here.

3
Human moderation, not just a button

A real moderation queue staffed by humans, not a "report" button that goes nowhere. Median response time target: under 6 hours.

4
DPDP-compliant by default

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, end to end. Consent is granular, withdrawal is instant, deletion is real. Your data lives in India. We never sell it. We never share it. Period.

5
No-dowry pledge, enforced

Every member signs the no-dowry pledge on signup. Any member found using Sneha to negotiate dowry is permanently banned and reported. Posting screenshots of dowry demands gets visibility, not shame.

Sneha vs. the rest.

FAQ

So you're another matrimony site?+

No. We are a movement that happens to be building a matrimony platform because the existing ones reinforce the very system we exist to retire. Every other matrimony product in India still asks “what is your caste?” on the first signup screen. Sneha will not.

How will you stay free if there is no caste-premium tier?+

Founding 100,000 are free for life. After that, an honest pricing tier for new joiners that covers infrastructure and moderation costs only — not equity returns. No outside investors, no growth-stage targets.

What if I want a partner from a specific community for cultural reasons (food, language, festivals)?+

Use language, region, and tradition tags — those are real cultural choices. Caste is not. The platform lets you filter by “Tamil-speaking, vegetarian, observes Vaishnava festivals.” It will not let you filter by Iyer vs Iyengar vs Vellalar, ever.

How do you handle horoscope / kundli matching?+

Optional, opt-in, never required, never used to rank or exclude. Available as a download of your own chart and your match's chart if both consent — never as a search filter.

Is there a Sneha app for iOS / Android?+

Native mobile apps are on the roadmap for after the web platform is proven safe. The site itself is installable to your home screen today (look for “Add to Home Screen” in your browser menu).

When does it actually launch?+

Target: Q3 2026. The waitlist below is for the first 10,000 invitees.

First step is the pledge

Sneha is built for people who have already crossed the threshold in their own heart. Take the pledge first, then join the waitlist.
